This exceptional outdoor kitchen is built between the existing retaining wall and cedar deck (with hot tub) and dock. The multiple seating areas, including coffee tables and benches, were custom built from reclaimed timber from the old Enderby school, matching the main table which easily seats 14. Also in evidence, reclaimed wine barrels from an Okanagan vineyard.
The grand entrance to the 940 square-foot living area leads down custom concrete radius stairs and concrete planter platforms to multiple seating areas, with gas fireplaces, a wood-burning pizza oven, wok, wine fridge, griddle, barbecue, beverage centre and stucco cupboards with stainless steel drawers and doors. Motorized, remote-control, built-in security shutters have been designed to hide in the stucco posts and the timber beam system, while smart wiring controls the media system, fireplaces, lighting and all shutters individually via the owner’s iPad.
