The purpose of this renovation was to upgrade the original 1986 home to new efficiency standards and modern style. The main focus was to capture the Kalamalka Lake views and expand the outdoor living spaces. There were small additions to expand the livingroom, master bedroom and reconfigure the ensuite with the existing floor plan being changed minimally. The kitchen layout became more functional with new antique white cabinetry, quartz tops, energy star appliances including an induction cooktop. The livingroom was enhanced with a new gas fireplace and stonework and modern, new tile and cork flooring, plumbing fixtures and complete LED lighting in the home completed the transformation.
The ensuite was modified and enlarged and now includes a large radius glass block shower, soaker tub, separate toilet room and exquisite custom cabinets. The indoor pool area can now be accessed from the man cave through new sliding doors onto a balcony overlooking the whole spa area. The pool area was upgraded with full media, a bar area, climate control, a new hot tub, pool liner and dynamic stone to become a real social gathering space.
